sk.art is a a project by Shayna Klainberg, a visual artist based in Western Massachusetts. Shayna graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in German, and her senior thesis project explored the genre of the Tagebuch (journal) in a series of free-standing bioplastic sculptures containing a summer’s worth of her trash.

Shayna currently teaches preschool and makes artwork on commission. In her free time, she enjoys biking, rock climbing, playing baseball, and peanut butter.
